Wim Hof Fundamentals Course with Will van Zyl

  • Wild Heart Hill Long Furlong Worthing, England, BN14 0RJ United Kingdom (map)

Either you’ll get in. Or you won’t.

The Wim Hof Fundamentals course returns to the Wellderness on Saturday the 10th of June at Wild Heart Hill campsite in Findon.

Expertly guided by Will van Zyl, this hugely popular course is designed to provide you with the basics of the Wim Hof Method.

Throughout the day, you’ll learn a breathing technique that will centre your mind and prepare your body for the cold. You’ll master the horse stance, vital to regaining warmth after a chilly plunge. And your day will climax with a two-minute dip in the ice, followed by an elation that lingers long after you’ve returned to the campfire for a bowl of delicious veggie stew.

Then, as you wallow in the comforting glow of the campfire, belly full of delicious stew, Poi Passion will wow the crowds with a fire performance that’ll blow your socks off.

Although held in nature’s gentle embrace, this course will haul you out of your comfort zone. It’s daunting. But the fundamentals are there to guide and prepare you for the ice. And besides, when it comes to taking the plunge, as Will puts it, “either you’ll get in, or you won’t.”

Tickets are limited and always sell fast, so don’t hang around if you want to join us for an introduction to the Wim Hof Method.

The campsite is open for those who want to stay overnight, with limited spaces available to book directly with Jose (07968 810 067).

Advanced Course

For the first time, we’re running an Advanced Wim Hof course this year.

Also at Wild Heart Hill, the Advanced programme takes your Fundamentals skills on a journey of self-exploration and personal discovery.

Delving deeper into the theory and expanding your practice, the day includes three breathing techniques, partner observation and co-regulation, and up to 10 minutes in the ice.

The Advanced course is open to those who’ve attended a Fundamentals day or have established a regular practice – whether that’s with breathwork or cold exposure or, ideally, both.
