Campfire Community Social - Adults only

  • Wild Heart Hill Long Furlong Worthing, England, BN14 0RJ United Kingdom (map)

We hold the space. You choose what to do with it.

Have you ever played Kubb?

It might be pronounced koob. It is a Viking game, after all.

Anyway… it’s great. You throw sticks - about the size of a relay baton, but probably quite a lot heavier - at some bits of wood. From about 20 feet away.

When you’ve knocked over all of your opponent’s bits of wood, then your team wins.

We played it at the first campfire community social in July. It was a lot of fun.

Some of us also went exploring. There was drumming. Quite a lot of tea was drunk.

And, of course, there was the campfire, the conversation and the connection.

All of it wrapped in nature.

Our next adult event, at Wild Heart Hill campsite on the slopes of the South Downs, is Saturday the 7th of October.

Tickets cost £5 per person and include car parking, teas and coffees and an invitation to the Kubb “tournament” (either as participant, spectator or occasional stick retriever).

And, if you want it, there’s plenty of time to simply be. In nature.

We’ll hold the space. You choose what to do with it.
